MashrabeyaPyramidsBoutique Hotel
A seven-room bed & breakfast in Giza, finished in carved mashrabiya woodwork and looking out at the Pyramids. The Grand Egyptian Museum is a twelve-minute walk away.
Carved wood, quiet rooms, the desert at the window
Mashrabiya screens once cooled and shaded the houses of old Cairo. We built the hotel around them, on the sixth floor of a building between the museum and the plateau.
Mashrabiya throughout
Every room shares the same carved geometric lattice, dark wood and warm sandstone walls.
Breakfast included
We run as a bed & breakfast. Breakfast is part of every stay.
The terrace
Lantern-lit mashrabiya screens, a partial pyramid view and drinks in the evening.
Airport transfers
Our own car and driver from Sphinx (SPX) or Cairo (CAI) airport, for small groups or larger ones.
Tea in your room
Each room has a hospitality tray with a kettle, tea and coffee.
Staff on site
Reception and housekeeping are here to arrange tours, taxis and anything else you need.
Seven rooms, one craft
The rooms share one design. They differ in size, in how many guests they sleep, and in how much of the Pyramids you see from the window.
Eight ways to see Egypt from our door
Day trips, evenings on the Nile and longer journeys, arranged from the hotel. Day tours start and finish at our door.
Entrance fees are not included unless stated. Tell us the tour and date you want, and we confirm pick-up time, inclusions and price before anything is booked.
Between the museum and the Pyramids
Walk to the Grand Egyptian Museum, or take a short drive to the plateau. Sphinx International Airport is closer than Cairo's main airport.
